Job summary

XTB online investing in Warsaw is seeking a Legal Counsel to join our growing legal team. You will support the company across general corporate matters, contract work, and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced financial environment.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s in Law, about two years of experience, excellent English, and a proactive approach to solving complex legal issues while working closely with business units and the Compliance team.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Law.
• Approximately 2 years of professional experience in a law firm or in-house legal department.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) for international operations.
• Strong interest in capital markets law and financial services regulations.
• Ability to interpret regulations and provide clear recommendations.
• Excellent organization, responsibility, and deadline commitment.
• Independent, proactive, and eager to learn and grow.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Support the legal team with ongoing services and cross-functional collaboration.
• Prepare legal analyses, opinions and recommendations for day-to-day operations.
• Draft and review contracts; participate in negotiations.
• Assist with corporate maintenance and board documentation.
• Monitor regulatory changes affecting XTB’s business.
• Draft correspondence to public authorities and regulators.
• Prepare legal docs related to clients, products and services.
• Support projects and new product implementations.
• Collaborate with Compliance and internal teams on tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting the legal team in providing ongoing legal services to XTB and collaborating with business units
• Preparing legal analyses, draft opinions, and recommendations regarding the Company's day-to-day operations
• Drafting and reviewing contracts, as well as participating in contract negotiations
• Assisting with day-to-day corporate maintenance, including preparing documentation for the Management Board, Supervisory Board, and General Meeting of Shareholders
• Analyzing legal regulations and monitoring regulatory changes affecting XTB's business
• Drafting correspondence and responses to public administration bodies, regulatory authorities, and other institutions
• Drafting, reviewing, and updating legal documentation related to XTB’s clients, products, and services
• Providing legal support for ongoing projects and the implementation of new products and solutions
• Collaborating with the Compliance team and other internal departments to execute assigned tasks.

Requirements:

• A Master’s degree in Law
• Around 2 years of professional experience in a law firm or in-house legal department
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken), with the ability to comfortably work with legal documentation and communicate in an international environment
• Strong interest in capital markets law and financial services regulations
• Solid analytical skills, with the ability to interpret regulations and deliver clear, actionable recommendations
• Excellent work organization, strong sense of responsibility, and commitment to deadlines
• Independence, initiative, and eagerness to learn and grow professionally
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle stress in a fast-paced setting
• Adaptability to a dynamic environment and the ability to multitask across diverse projects
