EPAM Systems in Poland is seeking a Junior Java Software Engineer to join a large-scale security platform serving millions of users. You will work across backend, frontend, and infrastructure under a mentorship culture with pair programming and thorough code reviews.

You will implement features in Java Spring Boot, build React components, write tests with JUnit and Jest, and contribute to CI/CD and IaC with Ansible and Terraform.

Qualificações

• 0–2 years of experience or strong academic/project background.
• CS/Software Engineering degree or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Java fundamentals and OOP.
• Ability to work in English; strong communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Implement features and fixes in Java Spring Boot microservices.
• Build React/TypeScript components and manage state with Redux.
• Write unit and integration tests with JUnit and Jest.
• Assist with infrastructure automation using Ansible/Terraform.
• Support load testing with JMeter.
• Debug issues across distributed microservices.
• Optimize performance in low-latency environments.
• Optimize SQL queries in PostgreSQL and Vertica.
• Contribute to deployment pipelines and infrastructure as code.
• Participate in code reviews and pair programming sessions.

The platform processes high volumes of network traffic and manages real-time security services.
