Job summary

Us3 Ltd in Kraków is seeking a Junior IT Controller for a 6 to 12+ month contract as part of a stand-alone company transformation. The role will support financial controlling of IT build-up projects and collaborate with IT, Finance, Procurement and Project Management.

This hands-on position offers broad exposure to IT controlling, project controlling and the financial aspects of setting up a new organization, with opportunities to contribute to budgeting, forecasting and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Support the financial controlling of IT build-up and transformation projects
• Support project managers with budget planning, forecasting and actual cost tracking
• Monitor project budgets, actual costs, purchase orders and commitments
• Prepare regular project controlling reports and management overviews
• Analyze variances between budget, forecast and actuals
• Support the preparation and maintenance of project budgets and forecasts
• Track CAPEX/OPEX, invoices and project-related commitments
• Support accruals and period-end closing activities
• Ensure transparency of IT project costs across different workstreams
• Support financial tracking of external vendors and service providers
• Identify and escalate potential cost risks and deviations
• Work closely with IT Project Managers, Finance, Procurement and other stakeholders
• Contribute to establishing and improving IT controlling processes and reporting structures
• Support ad-hoc financial analyses and management requests

About the project:

We are currently establishing a new stand-alone company following the sale of our business division. As part of this transformation, we are rebuilding our IT infrastructure and SAP landscape from the ground up. The resource from this service will support the financial controlling of our IT build-up projects and work closely with IT, Finance, Procurement and Project Management. This is a hands-on role in a dynamic transformation environment, offering the opportunity to gain broad exposure to IT controlling, project controlling and the financial aspects of setting up a new stand-alone organization.
