Job summary

CVI in Poland is seeking a Junior Investment Analyst to support private debt investments across Central Europe. You will monitor portfolio companies, prepare internal and investors’ reporting, and assist in evaluating new opportunities.

The role requires a university degree in Finance or Economics, 1–3 years of relevant experience, strong analytical and modelling skills, and fluency in Polish and English. CFA/ACCA/CIMA credentials are advantageous, and a proactive, learning mindset is valued.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in relevant areas such as private debt/PE/finance.
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
• Excellent command of Polish and English; additional languages are an advantage.

Junior Investment Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Monitoring of portfolio companies’ performance
• Preparing internal and investors’ reporting
• Screening and analysing potential investment opportunities
• Performing financial and business analysis of target companies
• Building and maintaining financial models, including forecasting and scenario analysis
• Preparation of materials for the Investment Committee’s discussion
• Supporting transaction execution across the entire deal process
• Supporting fundraising and investor relations activities

Requirements:

• University degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Finance, Economics or a related field
• 1–3 years of experience in a relevant field, such as: Private debt fund/ Private equity, Leverage finance, Corporate Finance/Valuations/ DD, Investment banking/ M&A, Strategic advisory
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
• Excellent command of Polish and English, other regional language will be an advantage
• High level of motivation, ownership and willingness to learn
• CFA, ACCA, CIMA will be an advantage
• Other regional language will be an advantage
