Job summary

UniCredit in Poland is seeking an Analyst CIB (M&A) to join its European banking hub and help shape the future of European banking.

You will participate in the execution of M&A, Equity Capital Markets, and Debt Capital Markets transactions, build financial models, and prepare client presentations. You will collaborate with international UniCredit teams and corporate clients.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in investment banking, private equity, or transaction advisory.
  • Higher education degree in finance, economics, banking, accounting, or a related field.
  • Very good knowledge of corporate finance, accounting, and principles of company valuation / financial analysis.
  • Ability to independently create and analyze financial models and valuations.
  • Very good knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Fluent knowledge of Polish and English.
  • Ability to use databases and industry applications (e.g., Bloomberg, Capital IQ, MergerMarket, EMIS, PitchBook).
  • Independence, accuracy, strong work organization, and the ability to work in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Participation in the execution of M&A, Equity Capital Markets, and Debt Capital Markets transactions at all stages of the process.
  • Preparing financial analyses, company valuations, and financial models, including DCF, comparable company analysis, and transaction multiples.
  • Preparing transaction materials and client presentations, including pitchbooks, teasers, information memoranda, management presentations, and analyst presentations.
  • Conducting capital market analyses, including monitoring M&A transactions, IPOs, equity and bond issuances, market valuations, interest rates, and financing conditions.
  • Preparing analyses regarding capital structure, debt, refinancing, and potential transaction scenarios.
  • Supporting due diligence processes, data room management, and coordination of information flow between the client, investors, and advisors.
  • Ongoing team support and cooperation with clients, investors, law firms, auditors, and other advisors involved in the transaction process.

About the role

Join the UniCredit team and work on the largest transactions. We offer the opportunity to work with corporate clients and financial sponsors, as well as collaborate with international UniCredit teams.

What you will be doing?
