Job summary

CVI in Poland is seeking a Junior Investment Analyst to support private debt investments across Central Europe. You will monitor portfolio companies, prepare internal and investors’ reporting, and assist in evaluating new opportunities.

The role requires a university degree in Finance or Economics, 1–3 years of relevant experience, strong analytical and modelling skills, and fluency in Polish and English. CFA/ACCA/CIMA credentials are advantageous, and a proactive, learning mindset is valued.

Qualifications

• University degree in Finance or Economics or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in relevant areas such as private debt/PE/finance.
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
• Excellent command of Polish and English; additional languages are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Monitor portfolio companies’ performance.
• Prepare internal and investors’ reporting.
• Screen and analyse potential investment opportunities.
• Perform financial and business analysis of target companies.
• Build and maintain financial models including forecasting and scenarios.
• Prepare materials for Investment Committee discussions.
• Support transaction execution across the deal process.
• Assist with fundraising and investor relations activities.
