Job summary

Splunk is seeking a motivated Junior Software Engineer to join the App Runtime team. You will contribute to building a wide range of developer tools for Splunk's SaaS products, focusing on delivering robust, adaptable development experiences and enhancing the developer lifecycle.

The role requires learning and cross-team collaboration with product management, UX, and documentation, plus hands-on work with Go, Docker, and Kubernetes to ship features and ensure quality.

Qualifications

• SaaS application development experience.
• Go production experience.
• Container technologies (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Nice to have: Python, C++, AWS or Azure.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design, implementation and delivery of long-term software in line with requirements and system architecture.
• Maintain and debug the existing tech stack and fix issues.
• Collaborate with product management and architects to build features and reusable components.
• Create and maintain robust test suites with automated testing and CI.
