Job summary

Sopra Steria Polska is seeking a Junior Financial Controller to join the Finance team in Katowice. The role offers hands-on experience in financial controlling, reporting, forecasting and business analysis while collaborating with Finance and operations.

You will support monthly closings, analyse variances, assist budgeting, and contribute to data quality and process improvements. Degree in Finance or related field and basic Excel skills required; English B2+ is expected.

Qualifications

Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
First professional experience in finance, accounting, audit, controlling or financial analysis.
Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
Good knowledge of Excel.
English at B2 level or above.
Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

Support the monthly closing and financial reporting process.
Analyse financial results and key variances.
Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
Cooperate with Finance and business teams to ensure data quality and consistency.
Prepare financial analyses, reports and presentations.
Support improvements and automation of controlling processes.
