Job summary

Kingfisher plc in Kraków is seeking a Finance/Data Analyst to analyze large data sets, prepare reports, and support month-end close. You will collaborate with senior analysts and cross-functional teams to drive improvements and standardize processes.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Mathematics and strong English. A hybrid work model with a mix of office and home-based work is offered along with a supportive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Must have good written and spoken English (min. B2).
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting/Math or related field.
• Strong financial knowledge and numerical skills.
• Basic knowledge of SAP and Power BI is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyse large amounts of data from different sources.
• Deliver concise oral or written reports on analytical findings.
• Compile data and prepare various schedules and reports.
• Support projects including standardization and improvements.
• Month end close with analysis and journal preparation.
• Assist senior analysts with data entry and presentations.

• Month end close as required with analysis and the preparation of journals
• Providing support to senior analysts in tasks such as data entry and assisting with presentations

Qualifications:

• Very good written and spoken English (min. B2)
• At least Bachelor’s degree in Finance and/or Accounting and/or Mathematics
• Strong financial knowledge
• Basic knowledge of SAP would be an advantage
• Basic knowledge of Power BI would be an advantage
• Positive attitude and the ability to work well within a team environment as well as individually
• Great numerical skills and analytical mindset
• Ability to prioritize task and work in a fast-paced environment
