Do obowiązków należy administrowanie Oracle DB na środowisku Linux, utrzymanie integralności danych oraz planowanie backupów i procedur odzyskiwania, a także wsparcie zespołu w rozwiązywaniu incydentów i optymalizacji wydajności. Wymagane 2+ lata doświadczenia z Oracle na Linux, znajomość ITIL oraz komunikatywna znajomość angielskiego.

Qualifications

• Znajomość języka angielskiego na poziomie biegłym.
• Ukończone studia wyższe informatyczne lub pokrewne.
• Przynajmniej 2 lata doświadczenia w administracji baz Oracle i systemów Linux (RHEL).
• Doświadczenie w administracji Red Hat i świadczeniu usług IT infrastruktury.
• Znajomość procesów ITIL: zarządzanie zgłoszeniami, zmianami i incydentami.

• administrowanie systemami operacyjnymi, oprogramowaniem bazodanowym i bazami Oracle
• uczestnictwo w projektach i kontakt z rozwijającym aplikacje biznesowymi w przypadku problemów
• rozwijanie istniejącego środowiska runtime i śledzenie nowinek technologicznych
• wdrożenia zmian w modelu danych na potrzeby developmentu
• tworzenie skryptów automatyzujących rutynowe zadania
• wspieranie audytów wewnętrznych i zewnętrznych
• tworzenie koncepcji bezpieczeństwa
• kopie zapasowe i przywracanie baz Oracle
• wsparcie 2/3 poziomu poszukiwania problemów
• ustalanie priorytetów zadań i raportowanie

Your responsibilities

• system administration (operating system, database software, and databases), independent planning and execution of maintenance work
• supporting projects in the creation and implementation of technical concepts and as a contact person for application development and business in the event of technical problems
• continuously developing the existing runtime environment and staying informed about new technologies
• implementing data model changes on behalf of application development
• automating routine tasks through self-developed scripts
• supporting internal and external audits
• developing security concepts
• backing up and restoring concepts for Oracle Databases
• troubleshooting and 2nd and 3rd-level support
• prioritizing and handling workload effectively, reporting

Our requirements

• fluency in English
• a university degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a related field
• 2+ years of professional experience in the administration of Oracle databases and in the administration of IT systems based on Enterprise Linux systems (e.g. RHEL)
• administrative experience with RedHat Linux and providing IT infrastructure services
• significant experience within the ITIL processes: Service Request Management, Change and Release Management, Incident Management
• analytical thinking, problem-solving skills
• an independent and team-oriented way of working, self-motivated
• being a team player and willing to share knowledge with the team
• excellent communication skills

About the role

As a Junior Database Administrator, you will join the team responsible for building, running, and developing Linux Server-based Oracle Database Systems. For this purpose, they carry out regular maintenance work and ensure integrity and availability, plan and run backups and recovery procedures. As a member of a team, you will be responsible for the smooth operation of the existing Oracle database.

The team is also responsible for problem analyses and incident management, including troubleshooting and performance tuning and coordinating external service providers.
