Job summary

ABB’s Aleksandrów Łódzki factory is seeking a Junior Data Analytics & BI Specialist to join a team leveraging data, analytics, automation, and AI to support strategic decisions and improve operations. You will work with Power BI, Databricks, Python, SQL, and Gen AI solutions to drive business performance and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities include developing BI/AI solutions, maintaining data workflows, and building dashboards for data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in data analytics, CS, engineering, mathematics, or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in data analytics, BI, AI, or similar analytical role.
• Experience with Power BI, Databricks, Python and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, optimize, and further develop existing BI, AI, and automation solutions to maximize business value and operational efficiency.
• Prepare, test, and maintain Python scripts, notebooks, and data workflows supporting analytics and reporting activities.
• Support, monitor, and improve LLM solutions used for field failure analysis, knowledge extraction, and process automation.
• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports enabling data-driven decisions.
• Contribute to Databricks-based analytics workflows, data pipeline development, and data quality initiatives.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve analytics, reporting, and automation tool issues.
• Create and maintain clear technical documentation to support solution sustainability.
• Identify automation opportunities and drive continuous improvement.

Your Role And Responsibilities

As a result of growth of our organization - ABB Medium Voltage Drives we are currently looking for candidates for a position of Junior Data Analytics & BI Specialist in our factory in Aleksandrów Łódzki.

In this role, you will become part of a team that leverages data, analytics, automation, and AI to support strategic business decisions and drive operational excellence. You will work with modern technologies including Power BI, Databricks, Python, SQL, and Generative AI solutions, contributing to projects that have a real impact on business performance and continuous improvement.

The work model for the role is:

• Maintain, optimize, and further develop existing BI, AI, and automation solutions to maximize business value and operational efficiency.

• Support, monitor, and improve Large Language Model (LLM) solutions used for field failure analysis, knowledge extraction, and process automation.

• Contribute to Databricks-based analytics workflows, data pipeline development, and data quality improvement initiatives.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to analytics, reporting, and automation tools.

Qualifications For The Role

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, AI, or a similar analytical role.
• Practical experience working with Power BI, Databricks, Python, and SQL.
• Basic understanding of Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, and their business applications.
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to data quality.
• Ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and effectively communicate analytical findings.
• Curiosity, willingness to learn new technologies, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
