Job summary

ABB in Kraków is seeking an FP&A professional to provide reliable analysis of financial results, budgets and forecasts, and to partner with management. You will translate data into insights that support business decisions and continuous improvement.

You will coordinate management reports, Balance Sheet reviews, and drive cost-saving initiatives while collaborating with Local Business Controllers and FP&A Management. This hybrid role reports to the FP&A Country Support Lead Poland.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Finance, preferably in controlling or FP&A within a multinational environment.
• Solid knowledge of SAP, with S/4HANA being an advantage, and strong MS Office skills.
• Continuous improvement mindset and ability to share best practices across the organization.
• Degree in Finance, Controlling, or a related field.
• Strong communication skills and fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Analyze the Group’s financial results within the area of responsibility.
• Coordinate preparation of management reports, including performance reports and Balance Sheet reviews, weekly to annually.
• Identify improvement areas with business teams and propose corrective actions.
• Drive harmonization, standardization, and operational excellence.
• Lead FP&A initiatives and support strategic decision-making.

This position reports to:

FP&A Country Support Lead Poland

In this role, you will provide reliable and timely analysis of financial results, budgets, and forecasts, supporting ABB Group management and stakeholders at various organizational levels in informed decision-making. You will act as a trusted finance partner, providing insights into business performance and helping evaluate the financial impact of strategic and major business decisions. You will leverage your analytical and financial expertise to translate data into clear, actionable insights that support business objectives and continuous improvement.

This role contributes to the Electrification business, with key stakeholders including Local Business Controllers and FP&A Management, and reports to the FP&A Country Support Lead Poland, based in Kraków.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performing the analysis of the Group’s financial results within the area of responsibility


• Coordinating the preparation of various management reports, including management performance reports and Balance Sheet reviews, on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis


• Working with key members of the business to identify areas for improvement and propose corrective actions


• Driving harmonization, standardization, and operational excellence


• Contributing to Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) initiatives for the Group


• Leading process improvement and cost-saving initiatives to protect and increase the Group’s profitability

Qualifications:

• You have 5+ years of experience in Finance, preferably in controlling or FP&A within a multinational environment


• You possess solid knowledge of SAP, with S/4HANA being an advantage, as well as strong MS Office skills

• You hold a degree in Finance, Controlling, or a related field


• You have strong communication skills


• You are at ease communicating in English


• You hold a valid visa or work permit to work in Poland
