Job summary

Arrow Electronics is seeking a Junior Customer Support Associate to join its EMEA Value Added Services (VAS) team in Gdańsk. You'll receive comprehensive training and work with colleagues in Poland, Mexico, and the United States on orders, BI reporting, and end-to-end order management.

The role is hybrid (3 days in the Gdańsk office and 2 days remote). You will support the Inside Sales Team, manage post-booking to invoicing, and interact with BOMs, ERP and BI systems to ensure timely delivery

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent related experience.
• Fluent English; additional languages a plus.
• Experience supporting sales efforts and order management.

Responsibilities

• Provide internal and external customer service and sales support.
• Manage post-booking to invoice processes and order fulfilment.
• Handle backlog management, expedites, and allocations.
• Collaborate with buyers, asset teams, portals, and BI systems.
• Process inbound orders from PDFs, email, and Office docs; manage BOMs.
• Support sales with reporting, escalation handling, and setup with First Article engineers.

About the Role

At Arrow, we're looking for a Customer Support Associate to join our EMEA Value Added Services (VAS) team. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone looking to build a career in customer operations, supply chain, and account management within a global organization.

You'll receive comprehensive training and onboarding to help you develop the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in the role. Working closely with colleagues across Poland, Mexico, and the United States, you'll support strategic EMEA customers and gain exposure to international business operations, customer-facing activities, and end-to-end order management.

The position follows a hybrid working model, with 3 days per week spent in our Gdańsk office and 2 days working remotely.

What Will You Do

• Provide internal and external customer service and sales support to the Inside Sales Team and customer engagements.
• Manage the post-booking to invoice process, including maintenance of Value-Added orders, follow-up activities, and timely order fulfilment.
• Handle backlog management, including complex and high-tier customer backlog, expedites, allocations, constrained materials, and open order demands.
• Work with buyers, asset teams, different portals, and Business Intelligence systems to support order processing, reporting, and issue resolution.
• Manage inbound customer order formats, including PDF, e-mail, and Microsoft Office documents, and work with BOMs, Customer Owned Parts, SWAPS, Internal Requisitions, and ISO-related activities.
• Support the sales team through direct customer contact, report coordination, escalation support, and cooperation with First Article engineers to set up orders in the system.

Who You Are

• You have a university degree and 1-2 years of experience, or you are a high school graduate with equivalent related experience.
• You communicate fluently in English; German, French, Spanish, or any other language would be a plus.
• You have industry experience in a similar field and experience supporting sales efforts.
• You are familiar with BOMs, quoting processes, expedites, and backlog/order management activities.
• You are familiar with ERP systems; Oracle would be a plus.
• You are familiar with Business Intelligence systems and can pull reports and use data to support daily operations.
• You have intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong communication skills with a teamwork-oriented approach.
