Job summary

ECCO Warsaw hosts a Junior Credit Controller role within its Global Business Services (GBS)Credit Control team. This position supports timely payments, accurate records, and collaboration with Sales and Customer Service to resolve issues.

The ideal candidate understands credit control basics and can work in an international environment, with SAP experience and strong English communication. This role offers hands-on experience and potential for growth within ECCO’s GBS organization.

Qualifications

• Some experience in a Credit Control function or similar position (internships or student jobs welcome).
• Experience in working in an international company or SSC serving multiple countries.
• Basic knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of Excel.
• Fluent communication skills in English; any additional language is an asset.
• Quality and deadline oriented.
• Team player with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor customer accounts and follow up on overdue payments.
• Perform basic credit checks and support updating credit limits under supervision.
• Support the dunning process and escalate unresolved issues to senior team members.
• Help resolve customer queries and disputes with Sales and Customer Service.
• Process customer refunds and assist with direct debit operations.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure data is up to date in SAP.
• Participate in ageing reports and other credit-related documentation.
• Collaborate with Cash Application to minimize unallocated cash.
• Support manual billing processes ensuring accuracy and timely issuance of invoices.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and team projects.
• Ensure audit readiness and compliance with ECCO’s Credit Policy.

Role Purpose

The Junior Credit Controller supports the Credit Control team in managing customer accounts, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining accurate records. This role is ideal for someone starting their career in finance or credit management, offering hands‑on experience in credit control processes and systems. The Junior Credit Controller works closely with senior team members and internal departments to resolve issues and contribute to the team’s performance.
