The Credit Controller is responsible for managing credit risk and ensuring timely collection of receivables in line with ECCO's Credit Policy. This role helps protect the company's financial health by making sure customers pay on time and within their credit limits. This role involves checking customer creditworthiness, setting and reviewing credit limits, and following up on overdue payments.
The Credit Controller works closely with teams like Sales, Customer Service, and Finance to resolve issues quickly and keep accounts accurate. The role also supports reporting, helps answer audit questions, reconcile AR subledger and contributes to improving credit processes and tools. In addition, the Credit Controller actively contributes to improving credit control processes - looking for ways to simplify tasks, reduce manual work, and support automation and system enhancements.
