Anshar Studios is seeking a Junior Character Artist to join our on-site team in Katowice, Poland. You will contribute to challenging AAA/AA projects, creating characters, props, and textures for real-time engines, collaborating with a passionate team.

The role emphasizes strong portfolio skills, training, and growth within a supportive studio environment that offers relocation help post-trial, health care, and flexible core hours.

Qualifications

• Experience creating character or asset content for real-time engines.
• Portfolio demonstrating relevant character/asset skills.
• Able to work on-site in Katowice, Poland.

Responsibilities

• Create 3D characters, parts, props, and accessories per project style and quality.
• Model and sculpt organic and hard-surface assets.
• Prepare and optimize for real-time engines: retopology, UVs, baking, texturing, cleanup.
• Implement and test assets in Unreal Engine with provided rigs.
• Create PBR textures using Substance Painter (or similar).
• Collaborate with concept artists, animators, and Art Director.
• Support production with documentation, asset cleanup, and backups.
