Job summary

Techland in Wrocław is seeking a 3D Character Artist to create and texture lifelike characters for our next title. You will collaborate with the Lead Character Artist and Art Director, following the Art Guide for direction and ensure high-quality character models integrated into our in-house C-Engine.

Required two+ years of AAA character work, strong Zbrush/3ds Max/Maya/Blender skills, and proficiency in Substance Painter and Photoshop.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience creating realistic 3D character models and textures for AAA projects.
• Skilled in Zbrush, 3ds Max or Maya or Blender.
• Experience with Substance Painter and Photoshop for textures.
• Strong understanding of human anatomy.
• Experience with Marvelous Designer, Wrap3D.
• Experience with game engines (Unreal Engine, Unity or in-house).
• Talent and creativity - characters tell stories and feel authentic.
• Curiosity about the game world and how visuals come to life.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify 3D character models (humans, monsters) under Art Director guidance.
• Produce and adjust materials and textures for characters.
• Integrate models into the C-Engine and ensure quality.
• Present work and justify design decisions to the team.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and learn internal tools.
