Cisco Systems, Inc is seeking a Junior Software Engineer for the Platform Identity team in Kraków. You will contribute to designing, building, and improving identity services that support authentication, authorization, and user lifecycle management across Cisco products.

Work closely with senior engineers to implement secure, scalable features, maintain existing components, and learn best practices in distributed systems and IAM technologies.

Qualifications

• Academic or early professional experience in software development.
• Basic understanding of authentication or authorization concepts (SAML, OIDC, OAuth 2.0 are a plus).
• Fundamental programming skills in C++ and/or Go (university coursework or project experience acceptable).
• Understanding of computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, networking basics).
• Eagerness to learn secure, distributed systems and identity technologies.

• Collaborate with senior engineers to implement secure and scalable features and maintain existing components.
