Job summary

Cisco IT's Embedded Licensing Solutions team in Kraków seeks a Senior Software Engineer to design, implement, and maintain Java-based applications for embedded licensing. You'll collaborate with architects, tech leads, and business leads to refine requirements and deliver robust software.

Qualifications

• 7-8 years of extensive experience in full cycle of software development process using Java, specifically for enterprise software applications.
• Proficiency in multithreaded application development with in-depth knowledge of Object-Oriented Design and Programming.
• Strong knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms as well as different design and architectural patterns.
• Solid understanding of client/server application, RESTful API Development and integration.
• Strong problem-solving and analysis skills with ability and willingness to work on complex technical challenges with excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain Java-based applications.
• Analyze software requirements and develop technical designs to meet the objectives.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using Java while ensuring high-quality standards.
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring best practices in software development
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assist with software integration
• Work with Technical Assistance Center (TAC) team to help troubleshoot software issues reported by customers.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, helping team to learn and continue improvement.
