Job summary

Axpo in Warsaw is seeking a senior financial analyst to build, maintain and review financial models for biomethane assets, including DCF, scenario, and sensitivity analyses. You will translate commercial and technical assumptions into decision-ready valuation outputs and prepare investment materials for internal bodies and boards.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in finance, economics, engineering or related field.
• Experience in investment analysis, corporate finance or infrastructure investing.
• Strong financial modelling and valuation skills (DCF, scenario & sensitivity).
• Advanced Excel and ability to build scalable tools.
• Structured, analytical thinker with cross-team communication.
• Fluent in English and Polish; CFA progress preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain and review financial models for biomethane assets (DCF, scenario, sensitivity and returns analyses).
• Develop and improve valuation tools, modelling templates and analytical frameworks used across the investment process.
• Translate commercial, technical and operational assumptions into clear valuation outputs.
• Prepare Management Information and investment-decision materials for internal bodies and boards.
• Support due-diligence preparation, data-room analysis and synthesis of findings for transaction teams.
• Collaborate with Operations & Construction, Asset Management and corporate functions to align investment assumptions with operational realities.
