Job summary

Axpo Group in Poland is seeking a skilled financial professional to build, maintain and review financial models for biomethane assets, including DCF, scenario and sensitivity analyses. You will develop valuation tools and templates used throughout the investment process and translate technical assumptions into clear outputs for decision-makers.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in General Management, Finance, Economics, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience in investment analysis, corporate finance, M&A, infrastructure investing or consulting – ideally with exposure to the energy sector
• Strong financial modelling and valuation skills, including DCF analysis, scenario planning and sensitivity analysis
• Advanced Excel skills and genuine interest in building scalable, user-friendly financial tools
• Structured and analytical working style, with strong communication skills across financial and technical teams
• Ideally, CFA qualification or progress towards the CFA designation
• Fluent English and Polish is required

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain and review financial models for biomethane assets, including DCF, scenario, sensitivity and returns analyses
• Develop and improve valuation tools, modelling templates and analytical frameworks used across the investment process
• Translate commercial, technical and operational assumptions into clear, decision-ready valuation outputs
• Prepare Management Information and investment-decision materials for internal bodies and boards
• Support due-diligence preparation, data-room analysis and synthesis of findings for transaction teams
• Collaborate with Operations & Construction, Asset Management and corporate functions to align investment assumptions with operational realities
