Job summary

Axpo in Warsaw is seeking a senior financial analyst to build, maintain and review financial models for biomethane assets, including DCF, scenario, and sensitivity analyses. You will translate commercial and technical assumptions into decision-ready valuation outputs and prepare investment materials for internal bodies and boards.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in finance, economics, engineering or related field.
• Experience in investment analysis, corporate finance or infrastructure investing.
• Strong financial modelling and valuation skills (DCF, scenario & sensitivity).
• Advanced Excel and ability to build scalable tools.
• Structured, analytical thinker with cross-team communication.
• Fluent in English and Polish; CFA progress preferred.

What you bring & who you are:

• Master's degree in General Management, Finance, Economics, Engineering or a related discipline
• Experience in investment analysis, corporate finance, M&A, infrastructure investing or consulting - ideally with exposure to the energy sector
• Strong financial modelling and valuation skills, including DCF analysis, scenario planning and sensitivity analysis
• Advanced Excel skills and genuine interest in building scalable, user-friendly financial tools
• Structured and analytical working style, with strong communication skills across financial and technical teams
• Ideally, CFA qualification or progress towards the CFA designation
• Fluent English and Polish is required;
