Zusammenfassung

Getinge Shared Service Poland in Krakow seeks an experienced RTR Accountant to support monthly closing and reporting. You will handle journal entries, fixed assets, bank postings, and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

Requirements include finance/economics education, strong Excel, English at least B2, SSC accounting experience, and SAP knowledge is a plus. Shifts follow East Coast US time (14:00–22:00) for several days monthly.

Aufgaben

• Ensure timely and high‑quality delivery of RTR activities within deadlines.
• Process journal entries, fixed assets postings, and bank statements.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Manage intercompany accounting activities including AP/AR, ICR, and netting.
• Prepare Balance Sheet and Income Statement reports (Cognos).
• Support month‑end close and internal controls compliance.
• Prepare daily, periodic, and ad‑hoc stakeholder reports.
• Participate in process improvements within RTR scope.
• Maintain and update process documentation.
• Collaborate with Business Partners to ensure efficient workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of assigned RTR activities in line with defined deadlines
• Process financial transactions, including Journal Entries, Fixed Assets postings, and bank statement accounting
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and ensure proper resolution of outstanding items
• Manage intercompany accounting activities, including AP invoice processing, AR invoice issuance, intercompany reconciliation (ICR), and netting settlements
• Prepare Balance Sheet and Income Statement reports using Cognos
• Support month-end closing activities and ensure compliance with internal control requirements
• Prepare daily, periodic, and ad-hoc reports as requested by stakeholders
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and support ongoing projects within RTR scope
• Contribute to the creation, update, and maintenance of process documentation
• Collaborate closely with Business Partners and internal team members to ensure efficient workflow and issue resolution

Our requirements

• Economic background education (finance/accounting/economy/controlling)
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
• English (written and oral) - required min. B2 level
• Experience in accounting in SSC environment and/or knowledge of SAP are nice to have
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Analytical mindset and accuracy
• Ability to work under pressure and toward deadlines.

• Working time according to East Coast US time (14:00-22:00) at least 4 days per month (month end close period)
