Job summary

Getinge in Kraków is seeking an experienced RTR Accountant to deliver timely journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close in a fast-paced SSC environment. You will collaborate with Business Partners to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliant processes.

Ideal candidates have an economics/finance background, SAP experience, and strong Excel skills, with English at least at B2 level and minimum 2 years in RTR/SSC roles.

Qualifications

• Economic background education (finance/accounting/economy/controlling).
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• English (written and oral) at least B2 level.
• Experience in accounting in SSC/RTR environment (min 2 years).
• Knowledge of SAP.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and high-quality RTR work in line with deadlines.
• Process Journal Entries, Fixed Assets postings, and bank statement accounting.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Manage intercompany accounting activities and netting settlements.
• Prepare Balance Sheet and Income Statement reports using Cognos.
• Support month-end close and internal control compliance.
• Prepare daily, periodic, and ad-hoc reports for stakeholders.
• Contribute to process improvements and RTR-related projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of assigned RTR activities in line with defined deadlines
• Process financial transactions, including Journal Entries, Fixed Assets postings, and bank statement accounting
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and ensure proper resolution of outstanding items
• Manage intercompany accounting activities, including AP invoice processing, AR invoice issuance, intercompany reconciliation (ICR), and netting settlements
• Prepare Balance Sheet and Income Statement reports using Cognos
• Support month-end closing activities and ensure compliance with internal control requirements
• Prepare daily, periodic, and ad-hoc reports as requested by stakeholders
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and support ongoing projects within RTR scope
• Contribute to the creation, update, and maintenance of process documentation
• Collaborate closely with Business Partners and internal team members to ensure efficient workflow and issue resolution
