Job summary

Brown Brothers Harriman (BBH) in Kraków seeks a Test Automation Engineer (Java) to design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions for enterprise applications. You will integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and collaborate with developers, QA, and business analysts.

The role requires 2+ years in test automation, strong QA knowledge, Java and REST API scripting, and SQL skills. The position offers a hybrid work model in Kraków with 3 days in the office and 2 days for eligible

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in Test Automation and related tools.
Strong understanding of quality assurance and SDLC.
Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
SQL knowledge and database understanding.
Java programming experience.
Scripting knowledge in Java and Rest APIs.

Responsibilities

Design automation test strategies, plans, and test cases for integration and regression testing.
Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks, tools, and environments.
Execute SQL scripts for data validation and test data preparation.
Analyze requirements and define effective automated test scenarios.
Run automated tests, evaluate results, and recommend quality improvements.
Implement API integrations between testing, defect management, and source control tools.
Perform risk assessments and communicate key testing risks to stakeholders.
Monitor and report testing progress, quality metrics, and defect status.
Track defects through resolution and support continuous quality improvement.
