Job summary

Solid Company is seeking a skilled Java software engineer in Poland to analyze requirements, document technical details, and ensure high-quality, maintainable code. The role covers design reviews, implementation, testing, and production support within an agile project lifecycle.

You will work on RESTful services, relational databases, and modern debugging tools, with opportunities to use Docker and Kubernetes in deployments. Remote on-call support may be required.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Java, J2EE, SpringBoot, JPA, Hibernate, RESTful services.
• Knowledge of relational databases (DB2 / PostgreSQL).
• Knowledge of software debugging tools.
• Good understanding of Object-Oriented and Concurrent Programming.
• Solid experience with version control systems (Git).
• Priority given to familiarity with design patterns, code quality, and unit testing.
• Experience with Docker / Kubernetes is a plus.
• Familiarity with production deployment and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Analysis & Documentation: Gather information from existing systems and analyze program and time requirements; prepare comprehensive technical documentation.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure that all coded programs adhere to industry standards and specifications.
• Technical Delivery: Conduct in-depth technical analysis and take ownership of component delivery within the project lifecycle.
• Project Participation: Engage in all stages of project delivery, including requirements analysis and design reviews, implementation, daily stand-ups, and code reviews.
• Production & Launch Support: Support production launches and provide maintenance for production systems.
• On-call Assistance: Provide hotline on-call support to address urgent business-critical issues.
