Job summary

DCG Poland is seeking a skilled Java Developer to join an Agile development team in Warsaw. You will build robust, clean, and well-tested solutions using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Integration, while contributing to core technology areas and supporting other platforms.

The role requires 4–5 years of Java experience, hands-on work with Docker/Kubernetes, Gradle, Oracle, and Kafka, plus strong API integration and testing capabilities. English fluency is essential for daily collaboration.

Qualifications

• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 4–5 years of experience as a Java Developer.
• Hands-on experience with Java, Gradle, Spring Boot, and Spring Integration.
• Practical experience with Oracle and Kafka.
• Experience in developing and improving CI/CD pipelines across development and deployment processes.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Fluency in English for daily communication.
• Experience with consuming data from API services.
• Ability to define and design application tests, including negative test scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key member of an Agile development team
• Develop robust, clean, and well-tested solutions using modern technologies
• Contribute primarily within core technology areas while supporting other technologies as needed
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate regulatory requirements into effective technical solutions
• Provide engineering input to support solution design and decision-making
• Participate in technology communities, development days, innovation sprints, and daily engineering activities
