Job summary

Infotree Global Solutions Inc. is seeking a skilled Java developer to join the Payments Engineering team. You will work in a pod of 3–4 developers and adapt legacy applications to ISO 20022 changes, a new financial messaging standard.

You will thrive under time pressure and excel at understanding business logic and reverse engineering complex codebases. The role requires 4 days per week in the office, participation in requirements sessions, design discussions, and code reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a computational field (CS, Engineering, Applied Math).
• 4+ years of relevant work experience.
• Solid grasp of Java, Spring, Hibernate, and DB2.
• Experience with Spring Boot, Kafka, MongoDB, Maven, Docker, RESTful APIs.
• Experience with event-driven / microservices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Git; banking/finance tech experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Participate in requirements gathering sessions with business users.
• Analyze, design and plan work with the Engineering team.
• Implement and test changes; participate in code reviews, UAT and releases.
• Think outside the box to improve the stack and deliver high-impact changes.
