Job summary

DCG Poland is expanding its backend team in Warsaw and seeks a senior Java developer to shape scalable microservices in the payments domain.

You will collaborate in a Scrum team, work with Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and modern databases, while ensuring high availability and throughput.

Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Kafka, Docker, and Kubernetes is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of experience in Java software development.
• Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Relational databases experience incl. PostgreSQL and Db2.
• Experience with AI-assisted tools such as GitHub Copilot.
• Fluent spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Develop new services and solutions in the embedded banking service domain (Payments Service Area).
• Build and maintain Java-based microservices.
• Contribute to distributed, highly available, high-throughput applications.
• Collaborate within a newly created Scrum team and work closely with experienced members.
