NATEK in Kraków seeks an experienced Java Developer to design, develop and maintain mission-critical Corporate Banking Payments applications. You will work on a mature platform spanning 20+ years, collaborating with teams in Poland, France, and Hong Kong to deliver new business and regulatory capabilities while modernizing the stack.

The role focuses on high-volume payment processing, system stability and performance in an international environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of commercial software development experience with Java.
• Strong knowledge of Java 17/21 and backend development practices.
• Experience with Spring Boot, Hibernate, REST APIs, JMS, and Oracle databases.
• Experience with large-scale enterprise applications and distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain payment processing applications using Java and related technologies.
• Modernize a large-scale banking platform by upgrading frameworks, libraries and infrastructure components.
• Translate functional and technical requirements into high-quality software solutions.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, architects and stakeholders in an international environment.
• Perform code reviews to ensure high-quality, maintainable solutions.
• Estimate development effort, plan tasks and provide status updates.
• Identify improvements and contribute to technical decision-making.
• Mentor team members and share knowledge.
