Job summary

Commerzbank AG in Łódź is seeking a frontend developer to create new web-based applications and frontends for digital banking products. You will work with React components from our living style guide and design new interfaces to connect frontends to backends.

You will join an agile team with analysts, architects and operations, participate in Scrum ceremonies, and contribute to incident resolution, tests and continuous delivery. English and Polish language skills are required.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Java, J2EE and Spring.
• Knowledge of message/queue systems, Apache Kafka.
• Experience with unit testing and reliable code.
• Strong OO design for scalable solutions.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• REST API design following internal standards.
• CI/CD practices to automate workflows.
• Fluency in English and Polish (min B2).

Responsibilities

• Develop new web-based applications and frontends for digital banking products.
• Use React components and design new UI elements using the living Style Guide.
• Design interfaces to connect frontends to backends for complex data objects.
• Support incident resolution, bug fixing, and testing with the team.
• Work in an agile team including analysts, architects and operations.
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies (Daily, Planning, Review, Retro).
