Job summary

Commerzbank is seeking a Business Expert to join the Daily Banking Middletier in Łódź, bridging business and IT to evolve online and mobile banking. You will translate needs into actionable stories and collaborate with Product Owners, software engineers, DevOps and testers across Germany, Poland, and the Czech Republic.

You will analyze requirements, data flows, and APIs, driving improvements while ensuring security and regulatory compliance in a hybrid work setting at Łódź.

Qualifications

• Degree in Economics, Business Informatics, Computer Science or comparable qualification.
• Strong experience in Technical Business Analysis and Requirements Engineering.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, system integrations and JSON.
• Understanding of SQL and relational databases for analysis and data validation.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, user stories and backlog management.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to translate complex requirements between business and IT.
• Very good English; German is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing and evaluating business requirements from functional and technical perspectives.
• Analyzing REST APIs, system integrations and data flows for needs and options.
• Collaborating with Product Owners and engineers to improve digital banking solutions.
• Translating business requirements into user stories, criteria and specs.
• Coordinating clarification and discussions across multiple teams in Daily Banking.
• Driving process improvements, standards and solution quality with regulatory compliance.
• Supporting backlog management, sprint planning, and workshops.
