Job summary

Commerzbank AG in Łódź is seeking a Java Developer to help build cloud services within the Advisory Frontends team. You will implement new interfaces and integrate product interfaces for Unternehmer360 and cobaQ, collaborating with business analysts and operations experts.

You will work in an agile international environment, gaining exposure to microservices in cloud environments, and advancing with Java/Spring, REST APIs, Kafka, and CI/CD while following best practices for code quality and

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Java with Spring framework and cloud native development.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
• Familiarity with unit testing for reliable software.
• Good understanding of object-oriented design for scalable solutions.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.
• Experience in cloud-based microservices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Fluency in English (minimum B2).

Responsibilities

• Develop reusable cloud services based on complex business requirements.
• Design interfaces connecting frontend applications with backend systems.
• Integrate existing systems to enable new functionalities.
• Support incident resolution and bug fixing with the testing team.
• Promote code quality, transparency, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
