Job summary

Auctane is hiring a Software Engineer to strengthen our Poland-based engineering hub. You will work on scalable backend systems using Java 17+ and Spring Boot, focusing on BPM workflows, API integration, and cloud deployments.

The role involves building automated tests, contributing to CI/CD, and collaborating across teams in a fast-paced Agile environment. Polish and English proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of backend development with Java 17+ and Spring Boot
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, OOP, design patterns
• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
• Hands-on automation testing with JUnit/TestNG/Selenium/Cucumber/Rest Assured/Karate

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java 17+ and Spring Boot/Spring Framework
• Develop and enhance BPM workflows and process automation solutions
• Build and consume RESTful APIs and integrate with internal/external systems
• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot on AWS (EC2, S3)
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
• Monitor health and logs with Datadog/Elasticsearch
• Develop automation test suites to ensure quality
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software
• Participate in code reviews, secure coding practices, and best practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner
