Job summary

Auctane in Poland is seeking a Software Engineer with 2+ years of Java backend experience to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using Java 17+ and Spring Boot. You will implement BPM workflows, RESTful APIs, deploy on AWS, and build CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and GitHub, while ensuring quality through automated tests and code reviews.

The role offers a hybrid work model with two office days per week and a focus on continuous learning within a diverse international

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
2+ years of backend development with Java 17+ and Spring Boot.
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and OO design principles.
Experience with Git, GitHub, and Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
Hands-on with automation testing frameworks (JUnit, TestNG, Selenium, Cucumber, Rest Assured, Karate).
Knowledge of API testing and integration testing with automated suites.
Analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Proficiency in Polish and English is required.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java 17+ and Spring Boot.
Develop and optimize BPM workflows and automation solutions.
Build and consume RESTful APIs and integrate with systems.
Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot on AWS (EC2, S3, etc).
Build CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and manage code with GitHub.
Monitor health and performance with Datadog and Elasticsearch.
Develop automated test suites to ensure quality and reliability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in code reviews.
