Auctane in Poland is seeking a Software Engineer with 2+ years of Java backend experience to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using Java 17+ and Spring Boot. You will implement BPM workflows, RESTful APIs, deploy on AWS, and build CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and GitHub, while ensuring quality through automated tests and code reviews.

The role offers a hybrid work model with two office days per week and a focus on continuous learning within a diverse international

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 2+ years of backend development with Java 17+ and Spring Boot.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and OO design principles.
• Experience with Git, GitHub, and Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Hands-on with automation testing frameworks (JUnit, TestNG, Selenium, Cucumber, Rest Assured, Karate).
• Knowledge of API testing and integration testing with automated suites.
• Analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Polish and English is required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java 17+ and Spring Boot.
• Develop and optimize BPM workflows and automation solutions.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs and integrate with systems.
• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot on AWS (EC2, S3, etc).
• Build CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and manage code with GitHub.
• Monitor health and performance with Datadog and Elasticsearch.
• Develop automated test suites to ensure quality and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in code reviews.
