Job summary

Inetum Polska is seeking a Java Software Engineer to join our backend team responsible for banking integrations and integration services using Java, REST APIs, and asynchronous messaging with Kafka or RabbitMQ.

You will collaborate with analysts, testers, and other technical teams to design, develop, and maintain integrations between Calypso and PayHub, work with PostgreSQL, and contribute to production support and deployments in a banking environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of commercial experience with Java.
• Hands-on experience in developing and maintaining backend applications.
• Practical knowledge of REST APIs and system integrations.
• Experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Good knowledge of PostgreSQL and SQL.
• Experience in analyzing and troubleshooting integration-related issues.
• Understanding of synchronous and asynchronous communication.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend components using Java.
• Design and implement integrations between Calypso and PayHub.
• Design, develop, and maintain REST APIs.
• Implement asynchronous communication using Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Analyze and troubleshoot integration and production issues.
• Work with PostgreSQL, including creating and analyzing SQL queries.
• Participate in requirements analysis and the implementation of new functionalities.
• Collaborate with analysts, testers, and other technical teams.
• Support integration testing and deployments of new solution versions.
• Contribute to the reliability and quality of integrations within the banking ecosystem.
