Job summary

Inetum Polska sp. z o.o. is seeking a Java Software Engineer to join a team focused on backend development and banking system integrations.

You will design, develop, and maintain integration services using Java, REST APIs, and asynchronous messaging with Kafka or RabbitMQ, contributing to Calypso and PayHub integrations. You will work in a banking environment with high standards for quality and reliability, collaborating with analysts, testers, and other technical teams to deliver

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of commercial experience with Java.
Hands-on experience in developing and maintaining backend applications.
Practical knowledge of REST APIs and system integrations.
Experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ.
Good knowledge of PostgreSQL and SQL.
Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain backend components using Java.
Design and implement integrations between Calypso and PayHub.
Design, develop, and maintain REST APIs.
Implement asynchronous communication using Kafka or RabbitMQ.
Analyze and troubleshoot integration and production issues.
Collaborate with business/system analysts, testers, and other technical teams.
Support integration testing and deployments of new solution versions.
Contribute to the reliability and quality of integrations within the banking ecosystem.
