Job summary

NN Greek Life Insurance in Warsaw is seeking an IT Systems Development Manager (Engineering Manager / Tech Lead) to drive the technology behind critical business applications, connecting business priorities with technology strategy, architecture, and security.

You will lead an engineering team across multiple technologies, shape the roadmap, manage budgets, and partner with Product Owners and IT leaders to deliver secure, scalable solutions from Warsaw with a flexible hybrid work model.

Qualifications

At least 4 years managing software development teams.
Hands-on software development experience and modern engineering practices.
Experience in system or solution architecture and tech decision making.
Ability to translate business needs into technology plans and business cases.
Experience managing technology budgets and external IT partners.
Security considerations embedded in tech decisions.
Technical higher education degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Lead an IT systems development team supporting a dedicated business domain.
Define technology roadmap with Chief Product Owners and translate priorities into plans.
Own architecture and security of the domain; ensure secure, scalable solutions.
Introduce new technologies and engineering practices; enable knowledge transfer.
Manage maintenance and development budgets; optimize costs.
