Job summary

Nationale-Nederlanden Poland is seeking an IT Systems Development Manager to lead an engineering team and shape the technology behind critical business applications in Warsaw. You will connect business priorities with technology strategy, architecture, and security, driving scalable, maintainable solutions aligned with NN's goals.

You will work with Chief Product Owners and Product Owners to craft roadmaps, estimate costs, and allocate resources.

Qualifications

• Four+ years of experience in managing software development or engineering teams.
• Hands-on software development experience and modern engineering practices.
• Experience in architecture and security for a complex domain.
• Ability to translate business needs into technology plans and investments.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to define the technology roadmap and estimate costs.
• Build and lead an engineering team, guiding growth and performance.
• Own architecture and security of the assigned domain, ensuring scalability.
• Introduce new technologies and standards while ensuring knowledge transfer.
• Manage maintenance budgets (CAPEX, OPEX, PEREX) and optimise costs.
