Job summary

Capgemini Polska in Kraków seeks a Senior IT Project Manager to lead delivery of complex IT programs for global clients. You will collaborate with customers, technical teams and partners to drive cloud migrations, infrastructure transformations, security initiatives, system integrations and new technology implementations.

You will manage scope, timelines, budgets and governance; coordinate international teams; monitor progress; mentor teams; and report to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of IT project/program management experience.
• Proven track record delivering complex technology projects.
• Experience across cloud, infrastructure, security and transformation initiatives.
• Fluent in English and German.

Job description

As a Senior IT Project Manager, you will lead the delivery of complex IT projects and transformation programs for global clients. Working closely with customers, technical teams, and external partners, you will drive successful project outcomes across cloud migrations, infrastructure transformations, security initiatives, system integrations, and technology implementations.

YOUR TASKS

• Lead end-to-end delivery of IT projects and programs, including cloud migrations, infrastructure transformations, security initiatives, system integrations, and new technology implementations.
• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, issues, dependencies, changes, and overall project governance.
• Coordinate international project teams, customers, vendors, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor project progress, drive risk mitigation activities, and ensure successful project delivery aligned with business objectives.
• Facilitate effective communication and reporting across all stakeholder groups, including senior leadership.
• Support team development through mentoring, knowledge sharing, and promotion of project management best practices.

YOUR PROFILE

• You have at least 5 years of experience managing IT projects and programs, with a proven track record of successful delivery.
• You know how to manage complex technology projects across various domains, including cloud, infrastructure, security, and transformation initiatives.
• You want to lead projects based on modern technologies and collaborate with highly skilled technical teams to deliver business value.
• You like people. You know that communication is one of the most powerful tools in a Project Manager's toolkit, and you know how to build strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, and project teams.
• You have leadership skills and experience in managing not only your tasks but also your team’s activities
• You can solve the eternal conflict of Agile vs. Waterfall. More importantly, you know how to adapt delivery methodologies to the project, the client, and the desired outcomes.
• You know English and German fluently and feel comfortable communicating with stakeholders at all organizational levels, including senior leadership.
