Job summary

KK Group in Szczecin seeks a Lead Engineer – IT Operations to ensure MES/OT reliability, integration, and lifecycle management across production sites. You will govern and lead hands-on support for shopfloor systems and OT devices, bridging IT and Operations with strong documentation and training focus.

You will work on OT networks, device integrations, and security standards (NIS2/ISO 62443), while coordinating with OT owners and Cyber Security to maintain compliance and incident resolution.

Qualifications

• Educational background in IT/Math/OT.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across endpoints, networks, device drivers and integration layers.
• Solid understanding of MES platforms, shopfloor workflows and production line IT.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain OT assets including shopfloor PCs, thin clients, printers, scanners, and industrial PCs.
• Ensure OT governance standards are applied consistently with asset naming, ownership and documentation.
• Collaborate with Cyber Security and OT system owners to maintain NIS2 and ISO 62443 compliance.
• Lead provisioning of shopfloor PCs, mobile tablets and equipment connected to MES and OT networks.
• Oversee shopfloor connectivity, MQTT/HTTP integrations, Wi‑Fi, and secure IT/OT communication.
• Manage MES/OT incidents, driving root cause analysis to reduce recurring issues.
• Establish monitoring for OT devices, MES services and shopfloor infrastructure; manage patching and lifecycle.
• Support storage, backup and data retention for MES operational data.
• Maintain documentation for MES/OT topology and provide knowledge transfer and training.
