Seneca Holdings is seeking an IT Governance Analyst for the National Capital Region or remote placement. You will ensure IT operations, strategies, and investments align with business objectives while managing risk and compliance.

The role requires robust data governance and strong stakeholder collaboration. The candidate should have a Bachelor’s in IT and 2+ years in data governance, with public trust eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology related field plus two (2) years of professional IT experience.
• Must be able to successfully complete, pass, and maintain a public trust investigation.
• Proficiency in data governance and data management theories, principles, practices, and methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• 2+ years in data governance, data analysis, and data management, preferably in a large enterprise.
• Excellent written and verbal skills, translating technical info for stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Support IT governance processes, including preparing meeting materials, capturing minutes, and tracking action items for governance boards.
• Assist in compiling compliance records, updating roadmaps, and coordinating communications across teams.
• Contribute to review and refinement of policies, procedures, and governance documentation.
• Support the transformation and operations of IT Governance.
• Refine ITGB strategy, processes, and activities with the IT Governance Team.
• Update and integrate CR processes with broader IT Governance.
• Assist with redesigning the Architecture Review Board and implement automation.
• Refresh DMCC processes in conjunction with new IT governance.
• Act as a bridge between technical IT teams and leadership, ensuring efficient, secure, and ethical tech use.
