Job summary

Capital.com is seeking a skilled IT Assurance & Compliance professional to lead audit readiness, gap assessments, and day-to-day compliance work in a fintech environment. The role requires delivering audit packages, translating regulations for technical teams, and maintaining robust policy documentation.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years in IT compliance or IT audit within regulated sectors, strong communication skills, and a proactive, independent work style.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in IT compliance, IT audit, or information security governance.
• Experience in FinTech, banking, or another regulated industry.
• Hands-on gap assessments and driving remediation to closure.
• Knowledge of at least two frameworks (DORA, PCI DSS, SOC 2).
• Ability to work independently on complex, ambiguous IT compliance tasks.
• Strong communication to translate regulatory requirements for technical teams and regulators.
• Attention to detail in documentation: evidence packages, policy versions, control registers.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end preparation for IT audits and regulatory reviews with evidence gathering and cross-team coordination.
• Conduct gap assessments for new regulations; document findings and drive remediation with owners and deadlines.
• Act as IT compliance SME; translate regulatory requirements into practical guidance for technical teams.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation across all IT assurance activities, including evidence repositories and registers.
• Review IT and security policies to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and practical applicability.
