Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Senior Programme Manager to lead Power BI and GitHub enablement within a complex business-IT ecosystem.

You will establish relationships with senior stakeholders across business, IT, architecture and security, and drive alignment on scope, timeline and budget while delivering clear, evidence-based reporting on status and decisions.

Responsibilities

Job description

• Lead coordination of Power BI and GitHub enablement within a complex business-IT ecosystem
• Establish relationships with senior business, IT, architecture, security and delivery stakeholders
• Maintain alignment on outcomes, priorities, scope, timeline, resources, budget and acceptance criteria
• Provide evidence-based reporting on delivery status, risks, dependencies, decisions and expected outcomes
• Coordinate GitHub Enterprise enablement, including repository setup, access, governance, branching, pull requests, GitHub Actions, CI/CD and reusable standards
• Coordinate Power BI work covering semantic models, workspace governance, deployment, security, report rationalisation and platform adoption
• Manage plans for proof of value, infrastructure setup, validation, rollout preparation, user guidance and go/no-go decisions
• Drive risk, issue, dependency, decision and action management across multiple teams
• Facilitate workshops, governance forums and executive steering discussions

Requirements

• Senior technical programme/project management experience in data, analytics or BI environments
• Experience delivering programmes involving Power BI and GitHub/DevOps capabilities
• Strong stakeholder, governance, planning, RAID and executive-communication skills
• Technical understanding of repositories, branching, CI/CD, Power BI workspaces and deployment
• PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe or equivalent credential preferred/advantageous
• Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake or broader data-platform experience preferred/advantageous
• Consumer Packaged Goods or multinational enterprise experience preferred/advantageous
• Comfortable working in ambiguous consulting environments and making trade-offs explicit
• Able to prioritise and manage multiple workstreams
• Clear communication with technical and non-technical audiences
• Collaborative, curious and a continuous learner
