Job summary

Jobtailor in Gdynia seeks a strategic Product Manager to evolve Content Operations capabilities, owning strategy, requirements and release planning. You will gather stakeholder needs and translate them into business cases to drive internal adoption across teams.

You will lead cross-functional initiatives, manage budgets and partnerships, and ensure capabilities scale with the business. Strong coding knowledge (Python/SQL) and MSFT/LSEG tool familiarity are valued.

Qualifications

• BSc in Mathematics, CS or Physics, or 10+ years' equivalent experience in finance/ops.
• Proven track record in data operations and data management.
• Leadership with accountability, collaboration, strategic thinking, and communication.
• At least 5 years leadership experience with talent development and retention.
• Experience delivering transformational changes in a customer- and product-led setting.
• Ability to strategize delivery and implementation of business cases.
• Strong communication to senior executives.
• Coding knowledge (Python, SQL) and awareness of AI Agents.
• MSFT and LSEG product/tools familiarity.
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the evolution of tools by designing exit strategies into core capabilities for Content Operations teams.
• Lead internal product capabilities and ensure new functionality is fit for purpose.
• Own strategy, design, requirements, trade-offs and release scheduling.
• Gather stakeholder feedback and drive customer-oriented innovation.
• Develop product definitions, proposals and business cases for marketable offerings.
• Participate in budgeting and third-party partnerships.
• Develop knowledge of functionality across the Content organization.
• Review current capabilities to ensure quality is maintained.
• Provide technology understanding to aid product development and adoption.
• Lead significant projects, programs and cross-functional initiatives.
• Influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
• Provide consulting advice to senior and middle management.
• Input to Content function strategy and direction.
• Review technology to identify efficient support mechanisms.
• Assess interactions between Content teams to reduce handoffs and automate where possible.
• Work with UI stakeholders to minimize process gaps.
• Deploy capabilities into Content Production and evolve them continuously.
• Define and report KPIs for tool effectiveness, stability and resilience.

Requirements

• BSc in Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics or 10+ years of experience, or equivalent experience in financial markets and operations
• Proven track record of success in data operations and data management
• Strong leadership abilities and behaviours including accountability, collaboration and partnership, strategic thinking, talent development and effective communication skills
• At least 5 years of leadership experience with proven track record of attracting, developing and retaining talent
• Experience with delivering transformational changes in a customer and product led setting
• Ability to strategize the delivery and implementation of business cases
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment
• Ability to effectively communicate and present to senior executives
• Understanding of coding, generate code (Python, SQL), use of AI Agents
• Expert user of MSFT products and awareness of LSEG products/tools
