Talanto is seeking an IT/Business Analyst to bridge business and technical teams within an international banking/payments setting. You will translate strategies into scalable IT requirements, gather functional and non-functional details, and ensure traceability across the development lifecycle.
You will collaborate with architects, developers, testers and legal teams, documenting use cases, data mappings and process models, while supporting UI prototyping and API discussions.

In this role, you will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, helping translate business strategies into scalable and sustainable IT solutions. You will work across the entire development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and analysis to solution validation and stakeholder communication. Responsibilities you'll have Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document business strategies aligned with the target architecture and long-term objectives Gather, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements Work closely with architects, developers, testers, business representatives, and legal stakeholders Translate business needs into detailed technical requirements Ensure end-to-end requirements traceability throughout the software development lifecycle Create and maintain high-quality documentation, including use cases, process descriptions, and requirements specifications Support development and testing teams during implementation activities Verify delivered solutions and review test results to ensure business requirements are fulfilled Provide stakeholders with insights regarding implemented solutions and their effectiveness Contribute to continuous improvement of analysis standards and documentation quality Expected competences and knowledge Experience in IT Analysis, Business Analysis, or a related role Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken Experience working in international environments Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence Knowledge of API Development, Data Mapping, and Process Modelling Experience within the Banking Sector, preferably in the Payments Domain Practical knowledge of SQL Experience with UI Prototyping and design Understanding of Architecture Diagrams, including Sequence Diagrams Strong technical mindset enabling effective cooperation with development teams Familiarity with analysis tools, frameworks, and methodologies Nice to have Familiarity with banking regulatory requirements Practical experience with REST APIs and SOAP APIs Knowledge of Single Payments and Multi Payments systems Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Understanding of cloud-native architectures, integrations, and cloud-based solutions Technologies you'll work with Jira Confluence SQL REST APIs SOAP APIs Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Data Mapping Process Modelling Sequence Diagrams UI Prototyping Tools Client – why choose this particular client from the Jit portfolio? has had an over-decade-long relationship with the leading financial group in the Nordic countries, and we are privileged to be our client's premier partner in Poland.
