Job summary

CD PROJEKT RED Group is seeking an experienced IT Automation Specialist to drive automation across operating systems and hybrid cloud environments. You will design scripts, build IaC, and enable self-service tools to improve efficiency, while collaborating with IT and security teams.

The role requires 3+ years in automation, strong scripting skills (Python/PowerShell), and experience with IaC tools like Terraform and CM tools like Ansible. Hybrid in Warsaw, with remote options within Poland.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in IT process automation, programming, or advanced systems administration.
• Proficient in at least one scripting language (Python or PowerShell).
• Experience designing, building and deploying automation tools in production.
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles, version control, and CI/CD concepts.
• Experience administering Windows Server and Linux, plus cloud platforms (AWS or GCP).
• Knowledge of Ansible or other CM tools and Terraform or similar IaC tools.
• Monitoring tools (Zabbix/Prometheus) and visualization (Grafana) knowledge.
• Strong analytical thinking and independent problem solving.
• Excellent communication and collaboration, fluent in Polish and English.

Responsibilities

• Design, test, implement, and maintain advanced automation scripts and apps for IT infra.
• Identify automation opportunities and lead projects to improve team velocity.
• Develop and manage IaC tools, monitoring, and CI/CD practices across systems.
• Collaborate with Systems Engineering and share automation knowledge.
• Create and maintain technical docs for automation tools and processes.
• Work with ITSECOPS and other teams to gather requirements and implement solutions.
• Continuously improve processes using new technologies and best practices.
