Seargin is seeking an experienced IT Administrator to join our team and oversee the administration, maintenance, and improvement of our IT infrastructure. You will work across networking, Windows Server, Linux, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, virtualization, and cybersecurity to ensure security, stability, and continuity of IT services.

Competenze

• 3+ years of experience in IT administration or similar role.
• Strong networking: LAN/WAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP, VLAN.
• Windows Server administration and Linux day-to-day ops.
• Active Directory, Group Policy and permissions management.
• MS 365 administration including Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint.
• Cybersecurity basics: MFA, firewalls, AV/EDR.
• Scripting to automate tasks (PowerShell, Bash, Ansible).

About the role

We are looking for an experienced IT Administrator to join our team and take responsibility for the administration, maintenance, and development of our IT infrastructure. We are looking for someone with strong hands-on experience in networking, Windows Server, Linux, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, virtualization, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure monitoring.

The ideal candidate is an independent and problem-solving-oriented professional who enjoys working across different areas of IT, automating administrative tasks, and ensuring the security, stability, and continuity of IT services.

Requirements

Must-Have

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position, e.g. IT Administrator, Systems Administrator, or Infrastructure Administrator.
• Very good knowledge of LAN/WAN, WLAN, and VPN networking concepts.
• Practical knowledge of network protocols and services, particularly TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, NAT, and routing.
• Practical experience administering Windows Server environments.
• Knowledge of Linux systems sufficient for day-to-day administration and troubleshooting.
• Very good knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and user account and permissions management.
• Experience administering Microsoft 365 environments, particularly Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams, and SharePoint Online.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, including access management, password management, MFA, security updates, firewalls, antivirus systems, and EDR solutions.
• Practical knowledge of UTM solutions, including security policy configuration, VPN, traffic filtering, and event troubleshooting.
• Experience working with virtualization platforms such as Hyper-V or VMware.
• Ability to create scripts to automate configuration and administrative tasks, e.g. using PowerShell, Bash, or Ansible.
• Knowledge of backup solutions and data recovery processes.
• Experience monitoring IT infrastructure and analyzing system logs.
• Basic knowledge of cloud services such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP) and Business Continuity Plan (BCP) principles, including their creation and testing.
• Ability to create clear and comprehensive technical documentation.
• Ability to independently diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
• Good organization, independence, attention to detail, and sense of responsibility.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple incidents or projects simultaneously.
• Advanced Polish and Communicative English, enabling work with technical documentation and communication with vendors.

Nice-to-Have Requirements

• Knowledge of Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and Microsoft Sentinel.
• Experience managing devices using Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot.
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including creating Power Automate flows, Power Apps, and integrations with Microsoft 365 services.
• Experience migrating on-premises systems to cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and resolving failures, incidents, and technical issues.
• Ensuring business continuity of critical IT systems and services.
• Managing backups and conducting periodic data recovery tests.
• Implementing and maintaining security mechanisms, including UTM, firewalls, antivirus systems, EDR, MFA, and access control mechanisms.
• Managing end-user devices, including their configuration, updates, and compliance with organizational policies.
• Automating repetitive administrative tasks using scripts and available tools.
• Participating in infrastructure projects, system migrations, and the implementation of new IT solutions.
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation, instructions, procedures, and infrastructure diagrams.
• Participating in the development and testing of Business Continuity Plans and Disaster Recovery Plans, including BCP and DRP.
• Managing user accounts, groups, permissions, and access to systems.
• Providing technical support to employees and cooperating with external IT service and system providers.
• Maintaining records of hardware, software, licenses, and other IT assets.
• Ensuring systems are up to date, installing security patches, and remediating identified vulnerabilities.
