Job summary

Seargin is seeking an experienced Senior DevOps & SecOps Engineer to join our technology team in Poland. The role combines cloud operations, security, and automation to support critical business platforms both in the cloud and on premises.

You will design, operate, and secure production environments, manage CI/CD pipelines, and advance Zero Trust, endpoint management, and compliance initiatives across the organization. Offices in Gdańsk or Warsaw welcome onsite collaboration.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Ops, or related roles.
• Strong experience with Microsoft 365 Administration and production cloud environments.
• Knowledge of networking, VPNs, firewalls, and security principles.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage production and development cloud environments (Azure, DigitalOcean).
• Design, implement and maintain secure, scalable infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor performance, reliability, and security; drive modernization and cloud-first initiatives.

We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps & SecOps Engineer to join our growing technology team. This role is ideal for a hands‑on engineer who combines strong cloud, infrastructure, automation and cybersecurity expertise with the ability to independently manage and improve critical business platforms.

You will be responsible for the design, operation, security, automation and continuous improvement of both cloud and on‑premises environments while supporting compliance initiatives, cybersecurity programs and modern workplace solutions.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

DevOps & Cloud Operations

• Own and manage production and development cloud environments hosted in Microsoft Azure and DigitalOcean.
• Design, implement and maintain scalable, secure and highly available infrastructure.
• Administer and continuously improve CI/CD processes, deployment pipelines and infrastructure automation.
• Monitor platform performance, availability and reliability, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
• Manage VPN environments including NetBird, Stormshield and secure remote‑access solutions.
• Support and maintain Linux and Windows server environments.
• Drive modernization and cloud‑first initiatives across the organization.

Microsoft Ecosystem

• Administer and support Microsoft 365, including:
• Exchange Online
• Microsoft Teams
• Conditional Access
• Design and implement endpoint management strategies using Microsoft Intune.
• Deploy and manage Windows Autopilot and modern device lifecycle management.
• Lead initiatives related to identity management and migration toward a fully cloud‑managed workplace.

Security Operations (SecOps)

• Monitor security events and respond to incidents across cloud, endpoint and identity environments.
• Implement and maintain security controls aligned with NIS2, ISO 27001, IMS and customer security requirements.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation activities.
• Manage endpoint security solutions, EDR/XDR platforms and security monitoring tools.
• Support security audits, customer assessments and compliance reviews.
• Develop and maintain security baselines, hardening standards and operational procedures.
• Participate in risk assessments and security gap analyses.
• Drive Zero Trust initiatives, including:
• Conditional Access
• Identity Protection
• Privileged Access Management
• MFA enforcement
• Device Compliance Policies
• Support incident response, forensic investigations and post‑incident reviews.
• Collaborate with Legal, Compliance and Business teams on cybersecurity programs.

Infrastructure & IT Operations

• Support local infrastructure including:
• Servers
• Firewalls and UTM devices
• LAN/WAN networks
• Monitoring platforms
• Troubleshoot incidents and coordinate resolution with vendors and third‑party providers.
• Provide advanced technical support and escalation assistance for internal users.
• Develop technical documentation, operational runbooks and disaster recovery procedures.

Skills:

• 4+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Operations, Infrastructure Engineering or similar roles.
• Strong experience with:
• Microsoft 365 Administration
• Experience managing production cloud environments.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals, VPN technologies and firewalls.
• Experience with Linux and Windows administration.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Scripting and automation experience (PowerShell, Bash, Python or similar).
• Understanding of cybersecurity best practices and modern security architectures.

Nice to Have

• Experience with: XDR / EDR platforms, Microsoft Sentinel, SIEM solutions, Vulnerability management platforms, Kinde, DigitalOcean, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Experience supporting NIS2, ISO 27001 or SOC 2 compliance initiatives.
• Security certifications such as: SC-200, SC-300, AZ-500, CISSP, Security+
