AVSystem in Kraków is seeking a First Line Support Engineer to help ensure the performance and reliability of IoT solutions used by enterprise customers worldwide. This role is ideal for students and early-career engineers who want hands-on experience in technical support, networking, Linux environments, and enterprise IoT systems.

Qualifications

Must be a student or recent graduate in computer science, telecommunications, engineering, or a related field.
Polish (C1) and English (B2+) language proficiency.
Basic networking concepts and protocols (DNS, DHCP, HTTP(S), TCP/UDP).
Familiarity with Linux systems, CLI tools, log analysis, and scripting.
Interest in IoT technologies and technical support.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and customer-facing abilities.
Availability for hybrid work in Kraków (3 days in office, 2 days remote).

Responsibilities

Perform 1st line support duties, prioritizing and acknowledging tickets.
Troubleshoot basic application, connectivity, and IoT-related issues using internal docs.
Escalate complex issues to 2nd/3rd line support and collaborate with internal teams.
Maintain and contribute to knowledge base with common issues and solutions.
Provide excellent customer service through effective communication and issue resolution.
Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation as an additional paid opportunity (interventions are rare).
